About This Role
- Develop and program PLC and HMI systems for assembly line and packaging machines in discrete manufacturing.
- Test machine operation to meet technical and safety requirements.
- Commission machines at customer sites ensuring operator safety during machine usage.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with at least one PLC programming tool: TwinCAT, CODESYS, or Simatic STEP 7.
- Knowledge of IEC1131-3 PLC programming languages such as SFC and Structured Text.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in industrial automation focused on discrete manufacturing assembly and packaging machines.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Hands-on experience interfacing with external devices like servo drives and motion controllers.
- Familiarity with HMI development tools such as Factory Talk View, InTouch, or WinCC.
- Exposure to Manufacturing Execution System (MES) user acceptance testing and plant rollouts.
