About This Role
- Define and communicate a 3-5 year technology strategy and architecture roadmap for a large-scale enterprise SaaS platform with Agentic AI capabilities.
- Lead architecture initiatives including cloud-native systems, generative AI platforms with LLM orchestration, data platforms, and establish engineering standards and governance.
- Mentor principal engineers, resolve complex architectural challenges, influence technical decisions across broad engineering teams without direct managerial authority.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 15+ years professional software engineering experience with at least 5 years in an architect/principal-level role such as Chief Architect or equivalent.
- Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, distributed platforms, microservices, event-driven systems, modern data architectures, and hands-on experience with production-grade generative/Agentic AI systems.
- Location requirement: On-site in Pune, India with willingness to be based in Pune, working 3-4 days per week in office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced individual contributor with proven ability to influence and shape technology direction across large engineering organizations (50+ engineers) in product-led SaaS businesses.
- Deep technical expertise balancing strategic judgment with hands-on experience in AI systems, cloud infrastructure, and platform consolidation or cloud migration.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to executives and cross-functional stakeholders, driving consensus without direct reporting authority.
