About This Role
- Build and maintain high-throughput, low-latency, fault-tolerant backend cloud-native microservices on Nike's Order Management platform supporting digital transformation.
- Drive end-to-end project execution including design, development, cross-team coordination, delivery, and operational support in a CI/CD DevOps model.
- Leverage AI-powered developer tools and generative AI capabilities to accelerate development and deliver scalable intelligent solutions, ensuring code quality, observability, and platform reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of software development experience.
- Mandatory experience with Java, Spring Boot framework, microservice architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful Services.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCE, Azure), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub), observability tools (Splunk, SignalFx), and databases including NoSQL (DynamoDB) and relational (MySQL, Oracle).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in architecting and delivering large scale, distributed cloud-native backend services with operational ownership in DevOps environments.
- Skilled in test-driven development with tools like JUnit and Mockito, and collaborative agile working practices (Scrum).
- Familiar with leveraging Generative AI-powered solutions and integrating observability/monitoring for production readiness and continuous improvement.
