About This Role
- Own end-to-end management of Enterprise Mainframe Storage Infrastructure across large z/OS environments, ensuring resiliency and disaster recovery.
- Lead key storage technologies and tools including ACS code maintenance, SMS support, DASD configuration, IBM VTS, and CA1 administration.
- Ensure timely completion of risk routines, audit/regulatory compliance, and support modernization and automation initiatives with 24x7 on-call responsibility.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-10+ years hands-on experience in enterprise mainframe storage management, preferably in large-scale, mission-critical, regulated environments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (B.E/MTech/B.Tech/ME).
- Strong technical skills in z/OS I/O architecture, FICON protocols, multipathing, I/O performance diagnostics, and working with z/OS systems programmers.
- Work Location: Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai or Gurugram; rotational shifts with 24x7 on-call support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven leader or subject matter expert in mainframe storage technologies with depth in assembler knowledge and mainframe tooling (ACC/SRS, CA1, DFHSM, DFSMS).
- Experienced in operating at global firms with multi-data center and multi-region exposure.
- Comfortable handling compliance-driven, risk mitigation tasks and driving automation and modernization in highly regulated, 24x7 operational environments.
