About This Role
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures including databases and large-scale processing systems to support business needs within the One Data Ecosystem (ODE).
- Collaborate closely with Data and Analytics teams to gather technical requirements and implement a future-proof data warehouse landscape migrating existing systems to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Oversee junior data engineers and ensure scalable data processing platforms for exploratory data analysis and real-time analytics are developed and maintained.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform and related technologies (BigQuery, Dataform, BigLake, Vertex AI, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Dataproc).
- Solid programming skills in Python and PySpark with experience in data warehouse and BI solution design and data modelling.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD processes using GitLab, and agile frameworks such as LeSS or Scrum.
