About This Role
- Own the architectural roadmap and provide architecture solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and implement new product features including protocol adoption and new data session flows.
- Identify, troubleshoot, reproduce, and fix production performance issues; maintain and optimize regression tests for stability and speed.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12 years of software engineering experience with proven software design ability.
- Strong expertise in core Java including multithreading and network programming.
- Experience in performance tuning, high load applications, relational databases (indexing, SQL tuning), and Linux system resource usage.
- Location: India - Gurgaon; Required Travel: Minimal; Managerial responsibilities: Yes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Deep technical knowledge in network protocols, OSI model, telecom domain (GSM, LTE, 5G), and protocol stacks (Diameter, TCAP, CAP, etc.) is highly advantageous.
- Experienced in diagnosing and resolving complex performance bottlenecks in high load, network-intensive applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) and advanced troubleshooting tools (tcpdump, thread/heap dumps, Java class histogram) enhances candidacy.
