About This Role
- Own and optimize cloud-scale data systems processing billions of events daily to support company-wide AI/ML initiatives.
- Participate in cloud migration and modernization of data infrastructure using advanced big data and GCP technologies.
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot early warning and analytics systems, providing data-driven recommendations to improve product performance and customer acquisition.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software engineering with strong focus on Big Data technologies.
- Expertise in Big Data frameworks like Apache Spark and Kafka and proficiency in Google Cloud Platform tools including Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala programming languages.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in large-scale data processing and migration to cloud platforms, especially GCP.
- Strong skills in data modeling, schema design, and managing complex data workflows using Apache Airflow.
- Demonstrated ability to debug data processing issues and mentor junior team members in an advanced technology environment.
