About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions focused on backend and API testing using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber BDD, and Karate.
- Lead quality initiatives including building scalable automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and driving improvements in automation coverage and release quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environment, mentor junior QA engineers, and ensure compliance with organizational quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of software quality assurance experience with strong backend testing expertise.
- Hands-on experience with API Test Automation using Cucumber BDD, Karate, Selenium WebDriver, and Playwright.
- Proficiency in Java and C# for developing automated test scripts.
- Experience working with Kafka Messaging Systems, SQL/Database Validation, AWS services, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in backend systems and microservices testing rather than UI testing, with deep focus on asynchronous and distributed services.
- Demonstrated capability in designing and driving quality automation strategies in Agile cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of mentoring QA engineers and collaborating effectively with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams.
