About This Role
- Design, build, and operate scalable online data infrastructure platforms powering LinkedIn's core applications.
- Participate in design and code reviews, prioritize and develop impactful features at high velocity, and mentor other engineers.
- Collaborate closely with open-source communities to influence and contribute to leading open-source infrastructure projects.
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions.
- Proficiency programming in Object-oriented languages such as Java, Python, Go, and/or functional languages like Scala.
- Work Location: Hybrid in Bangalore, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and operating distributed systems and backend infrastructure at scale.
- Familiarity with big data and machine learning platforms, including relevant open-source tools (e.g., Spark, TensorFlow, Kafka).
- Comfortable working in high-velocity, collaborative engineering environments contributing to open-source projects.
