About This Role
- Develop scalable and reliable Android application components and features for Grab's PaySDK mobile team in Bangalore.
- Take ownership of code quality, including readability, maintainability, testing, and applying suitable data structures and algorithms.
- Conduct design reviews, implement monitoring and operational excellence standards, and communicate technical solutions to stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of app development experience with at least 4 years focused on Android application development.
- Proficiency in Compose, Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK.
- Experience creating detailed technical documentation for cross-functional and senior leadership audiences.
- Experience in making architectural tradeoffs for software solutions, including multithreaded concurrency handling.

- Experienced software development leader with successful delivery of large-scale mobile applications.
- Capable of independently owning Android engineering tasks end-to-end, from design to production support.
- Strategic thinker able to balance architectural integrity with practical project requirements in a large, cross-functional team.
