About This Role
- Provide pre-sales technical systems engineering support to enterprise/commercial customers in Western India, partnering with Account teams to identify opportunities and gather customer requirements.
- Architect, design, and propose Arista Data Centre and Campus network solutions using leaf-spine architectures (VxLAN, EVPN) and overlays; conduct product presentations and hands-on PoC validations.
- Collaborate with Sales and Product teams for RFP responses, give feedback for product improvements, represent Arista at industry events, and author technical white papers.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience focused on Data Centre and Campus networks.
- BE/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical degree.
- Expert-level knowledge of routing and switching protocols (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Aruba), including L2/L3 protocols such as BGP, VLANs, RSTP/MSTP, VxLAN, EVPN.
- Preferred network industry certifications (e.g., CCIE (R&S), JNCIE) and experience with pre-sales, sales engineering, or network consulting roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex Data Centre and Campus network architecture with strong hands-on design and proof-of-concept validation skills.
- Familiarity with network overlays, SDN, NFV, and network automation tools such as Python and Ansible indicates a strategic fit.
- Capable of influencing product direction and marketing through technical presentations, white papers, and active participation in industry forums.
