About This Role
- Develop and maintain automated UI and API test frameworks for web and mobile (iOS and Android) platforms to ensure product quality.
- Execute manual and exploratory testing to detect defects early across the full software development lifecycle including new features and performance tests.
- Collaborate across India and US time zones to communicate project status, manage defects in Jira, and support continuous improvement in QA practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a Software QA Engineer or SDET.
- Strong programming skills in Java; knowledge of Kotlin or JavaScript is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with mobile test automation tools like Appium, Selenium, or WebdriverIO for native and hybrid applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; equivalent practical QA experience considered.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and executing automated test frameworks for both web and mobile applications in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines.
- Skilled in advanced test design methodologies and backward compatibility testing across OS versions and device configurations.
- Capable of working effectively across distributed teams with strong communication skills and ability to manage defect lifecycle and exploratory testing independently.
