About This Role
- Architect, develop, and maintain VS Code Extension frontend using TypeScript, including interactive UI elements and custom editors.
- Collaborate with Python backend team to define APIs and interprocess communication for seamless UI-backend integration.
- Write unit and integration tests for TypeScript code and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GIT workflows.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-8 years of professional software development experience with TypeScript and modern frontend technologies.
- Degree required: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or equivalent engineering field.
- Hands-on experience developing VS Code Extensions using Extension APIs, Webviews, and Custom Editors.
- Proficiency with GIT version control, branching, pull requests, and CI/CD build automation tools like Jenkins.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript including asynchronous programming and Node.js environment.
- Experienced in UI/UX frameworks such as React or similar for developer tools within desktop/editor contexts.
- Ability to work in agile teams with cross-functional collaboration between frontend and backend engineers.
