About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain highly available Data Quality Platform services including system design, API design (REST/gRPC), and data modeling for batch and streaming data.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of platform features related to profiling, quality rules, data contracts, anomaly detection, alerting, and incident workflows, ensuring production readiness and operational excellence.
- Drive technical quality improvements, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and data teams to develop scalable, AI/ML-enabled data platform solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years professional backend software development experience using object-oriented languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin).
- Proven experience owning end-to-end delivery of services including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support in multi-service environments.
- Experience with API design, data models, system design principles for reliable and maintainable systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing high-throughput, distributed data systems integrating batch/streaming pipelines (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Airflow).
- Strong focus on operational excellence with monitoring, alerting, incident response, and continuous improvement of production systems.
- Proven technical leadership including setting technical direction, mentoring, and driving cross-team initiatives especially involving AI/ML-enabled data platform features.
