About This Role
- Build and maintain system testbeds for Mist Edge and associated network devices to validate datapath, tunneling, and security features.
- Recreate and troubleshoot complex customer networking issues collaborating with US and Beijing engineering teams to resolve them.
- Develop and improve automation frameworks leveraging AI-assisted tools for test creation, anomaly detection, and debugging workflows.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with L2TPv3, IPsec tunneling, and low-level network datapath and packet processing.
- 10–15 years of professional experience in network QA or related roles.
- Onsite work requirement primarily from an HPE office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in working with complex client-to-cloud architecture and end-to-end network traffic validation.
- Skilled in deep packet analysis and debugging using tools like Wireshark/tcpdump across control and data planes.
- Proficient in using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance automation and testing efficiency in a high-paced technical environment.
