About This Role
- Manage and oversee India-based Cloud Platform engineering team focusing on AKS operations and Terraform automation.
- Review and ensure correctness, adherence to standards, and production-readiness of team’s Kubernetes and Terraform work.
- Provide accurate, verified status reporting to Senior Manager and coordinate with senior US-based engineers on platform architecture and standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering with people management or technical lead experience.
- Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes (ideally AKS) and working Terraform expertise.
- Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux, or equivalent) and policy-as-code tooling (Kyverno, OPA/Gatekeeper, or equivalent).
- Experience managing engineers directly including performance management and workload planning.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven capability to provide technical oversight and verify team output in Kubernetes and Terraform environments.
- Experience managing distributed or offshore teams coordinating across regions.
- Strong process orientation emphasizing accurate status reporting, risk escalation, and enforcement of engineering standards.
