About This Role
- Design, build, and operate an Azure-native cloud platform including migration of services from on-premises data centers to Azure.
- Own Terraform reusable modules and extend AKS-based platform with GitOps deployment patterns, observability, policy-as-code, and security tooling.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers via code reviews, pairing, and setting technical standards without direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years in platform, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering with Principal-level technical leadership experience without formal management.
- Deep hands-on experience with Azure cloud native architectures using managed services; production Kubernetes operation experience, ideally AKS.
- Proven experience in data center to cloud migration, including business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Strong skills in GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), policy-as-code tooling (Kyverno/OPA), IAM design, observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana), and Terraform reusable module design.
