About This Role
- Manage India-based Cloud Platform engineers focusing on workload assignment, prioritization, and daily people management.
- Review and approve team's Kubernetes (AKS) configurations and Terraform modules for production readiness and adherence to standards.
- Provide accurate, verifiable status reporting to Senior Manager and ensure technical alignment with US-based platform architects.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering roles with some people-management or formal technical lead experience.
- Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes (preferably AKS) and working Terraform expertise sufficient to review and approve modules.
- Experience with GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux) and policy-as-code tooling (Kyverno, OPA/Gatekeeper).
- Experience managing engineers directly including performance management and workload planning.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing distributed/offshore engineering teams with cross-region coordination.
- Strong technical oversight skills demonstrated by thorough code and configuration reviews to enforce platform standards.
- Able to deliver precise, verified status updates and escalate risks proactively, emphasizing operational accountability.
