About This Role
- Drive reliability, availability, and performance improvements across retail technology platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
- Lead operational activities including incident response, problem management, change management, release readiness, and service transition.
- Develop and implement automation, observability, and monitoring solutions to enhance operational efficiency and proactively identify service issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Systems Reliability Engineering, application support, infrastructure engineering, production operations, or related technology disciplines.
- Experience managing or supporting enterprise-scale applications and infrastructure in complex business environments.
- Proficiency with incident management, problem management, change management, and production support processes.
- Experience with observability/monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic), automation/scripting (Python, PowerShell), CI/CD platforms, and familiarity with retail and enterprise platforms as detailed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Retail Platforms & Store Technology including Xstore, Xoffice, Point of Sale, ORCE, MPOS, RFID, Omnichannel, Retail Store Systems, Network, and Infrastructure.
- Skilled in Enterprise Platforms like APIs, Middleware, Azure, Databases, and Endpoint management.
- Practiced in operational governance frameworks including ITIL, Security, SOX compliance, Risk, and Vendor Management.
