About This Role
- Design and implement core Android infrastructure components and frameworks for Grab's Super App architecture.
- Lead architecture decisions, technical discussions, and development of scalable, maintainable Android platform systems.
- Develop and maintain build systems, CI/CD pipelines, reusable components, and comprehensive technical documentation to improve developer experience.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional Android development experience.
- Proficient in Kotlin, Android architecture patterns (MVVM/MVI), and modular multi-module Android projects.
- Experience with Android build systems (Gradle/Bazel) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Work location is onsite at Grab Bengaluru office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing scalable, maintainable Android systems using SOLID principles and dependency injection frameworks (Dagger, Hilt, or Anvil).
- Proven capability in leading technical discussions and enforcing code standardization across mobile codebases.
- Familiarity with modern Android development practices including Compose and developer productivity tools, preferably with generative AI application experience.
