About This Role
- Own and evolve the architectural vision and target architecture for Airbus's IAM Self-Service Platform, ensuring high availability, security-by-design, and Zero Trust principles implementation.
- Design scalable integration patterns and API-first architectures for identity systems, governance platforms, and hybrid/cloud environments serving 130,000+ users, focusing on seamless developer and user experience.
- Partner with Product Manager, Technical Lead, and other domain leaders to translate business needs and security mandates into scalable, secure, and compliant architecture blueprints and guide engineering execution.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of software engineering experience with at least 4 years as an Enterprise/Software/Solution Architect in large-scale IAM or enterprise security environments.
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Expertise in Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, API Gateway patterns, RESTful APIs, Cloud-native designs (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Proficiency in IAM protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM, FIDO2) and experience with identity engines like Active Directory, Azure AD, Ping Identity, Okta, or SailPoint.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced architect with proven skills leading IAM or enterprise security identity platform development aligned to Zero Trust Architecture and modern cybersecurity standards.
- Strong technical leadership capability in enterprise-scale platform design, integrating security by design, DevSecOps, and compliance (GDPR, ITAR/EAR, aviation regulations).
- Ability to bridge executive strategy, business requirements, and detailed engineering implementation in multicultural, regulated environments.
