About This Role
- Lead end-to-end optimization and performance tuning for Airbus Skywise Big Data applications using Apache Spark and related technologies.
- Define technical standards, enforce best practices, and conduct source code audits across Skywise codebase.
- Mentor development team members and manage direct technical engagement with European business partners and customers using Agile methodologies.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years total IT experience with 4+ years hands-on Palantir Skywise development.
- Minimum 3 years in a customer-facing support or service role, specifically with European customers.
- Mandatory technical skills: Apache Spark, PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Scala, SQL, Git, CI/CD.
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex Big Data ecosystems with emphasis on Skywise application tools like Workshop, Slate, and Foundry Ontology.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, enforce coding standards, and perform deep root cause analysis in distributed team environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills demonstrated by direct collaboration with European customers and Agile team experience.
