About This Role
- Create high-quality 2D animations for characters, game trailers, FX, and promotional videos across mobile and web gaming platforms.
- Maintain and optimize animation assets adhering to the established asset pipeline, ensuring compatibility with technical constraints of mobile and web games.
- Collaborate actively with artists, designers, developers, and studio leads to coordinate work, present ideas, and support project progress and mentorship.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in 2D animation.
- Proficient with Adobe Photoshop for frame animation and Spine for skeletal 2D animation, Texture Packer for sprite sheets, Pixi.js Text Style Editor, and Pixi.js Particles Editor.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and After Effects.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 4+ years in 2D animation; specific mention of domain experience in gaming animation tools and asset optimization for mobile/web platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in animation production for mobile and/or casino games, with a solid portfolio featuring released game titles.
- Technical understanding of animation tools relative to game development and asset optimization across multiple platforms.
- Familiar with agile methodology, specifically Scrum framework, and able to work in a distributed team environment including participating in after-hours calls.
