About This Role
- Maintain and enhance backend services of a SaaS platform focused on campaign generation, billing, and template management using Node.js/TypeScript frameworks.
- Ensure uptime, scalability, and performance by optimizing APIs, MongoDB queries, and implementing caching and job queues.
- Manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, SES) and implement security best practices including API authentication and GDPR compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of backend development experience; prior SaaS or high-traffic API experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js with TypeScript and frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.
- Experience with MongoDB including schema design and ORMs; familiarity with Redis, job queues, and AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, SES).
- Knowledge of API security methods (JWT, OAuth2), Dockerized microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and unit/integration testing frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with scalable backend architecture supporting high-traffic SaaS or marketing platforms.
- Comfortable managing cloud infrastructure and optimizing database performance.
- Able to own end-to-end API lifecycle from development and security to monitoring and incident debugging.
