About This Role
- Analyze business and functional requirements to create and execute detailed manual test cases and scenarios across multiple testing types including Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, and UAT.
- Execute existing UFT automated test scripts, analyze results, and validate application behavior across different environments.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools; provide test execution reports and support production validation and post-release testing activities.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software testing with 3-4 years specifically in Manual Testing.
- Experience in Functional, Regression, System, Integration, and UAT Testing with hands-on test case, scenario, and test data preparation.
- Proficient in defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or Quality Center; experience executing UFT test suites and analyzing results.
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation; understanding of STLC and Defect Life Cycle.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced manual tester with technical expertise in UFT automated script execution and analysis.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, capable of maintaining QA standards and documentation rigor.
