About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack manufacturing intelligence applications integrating frontend (React/TypeScript), backend (Python/FastAPI), and databases (PostgreSQL).
- Build and operate scalable, secure, and production-grade data pipelines and services interfacing with manufacturing systems like MES, SCADA, PLCs, and event-driven data sources.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate manufacturing and engineering challenges into technical solutions, supporting business decision-making and manufacturing process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years professional software engineering experience with full-stack production applications, including at least 3 years in manufacturing intelligence or industrial/data-intensive applications.
- Proficiency in React/TypeScript frontend development, Python backend development with FastAPI, and advanced PostgreSQL skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup (office presence approx. 4 days per week); no immigration sponsorship provided (applicants requiring visa sponsorship not eligible).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and scaling manufacturing data analytics applications with strong integration of operational technology (OT) and IT systems (e.g., MES, SCADA, PLCs).
- Skilled in secure cloud and edge deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation within a manufacturing environment.
- Able to lead technical design discussions and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams under manufacturing business pressures.
