About This Role
- Own design and delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms and pipelines for a modern data platform.
- Lead architecture, set data engineering standards, and enforce best practices across teams.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, analytics, and business to enable data-driven decisions and lead technical direction.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of data engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or PySpark.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift), AWS services (S3, EC2, EMR, Glue, Athena, Lambda, CloudWatch), Apache Spark, Airflow, DBT, GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL and data modeling.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading data engineering teams or architect roles with mentoring responsibilities.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Background in high-volume retail, e-commerce, or consumer-facing environments with knowledge of data governance and cost optimization on cloud platforms.
