About This Role
- Lead functional design and implementation of end-to-end SAP Retail solutions across merchandise, procurement, inventory, replenishment, pricing, promotions, and sales processes.
- Translate retail business requirements into SAP functional specifications, configurations, and solution designs; support integration with POS, warehouse, e-commerce, finance, and third-party systems.
- Provide functional leadership including mentoring junior consultants, managing testing phases (SIT, UAT), defect resolution, cutover, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years total experience, with 8+ years relevant SAP Retail functional experience.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end SAP Retail business processes including merchandise management, procurement, inventory, replenishment, pricing, promotions, sales, distribution, and master data.
- Experience working in large-scale retail or convenience retail environments handling multi-store, high-volume transactions.
- Ability to work AUS shift (4:30 AM to 1:00 PM IST); work mode is hybrid; location Pune with flexibility for other locations in India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior-level SAP Retail functional professional comfortable owning functional workstreams independently from requirements gathering to production support.
- Strong understanding of retail operational realities in multi-store, high-volume convenience or grocery retail environments.
- Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or traditional SAP delivery models with ability to work across business, functional, technical, and integration teams.
