About This Role
- Lead software development, verification, maintenance, and release activities for regulated medical device software, ensuring safety, compliance, and alignment with business goals.
- Drive adoption and governance of AI-enabled engineering practices to improve productivity, quality, and regulatory compliance across software development and operational workflows.
- Manage and develop a high-performing software engineering team while collaborating cross-functionally with product, regulatory, systems, and quality teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Clinical Informatics, or related technical/clinical field.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically delivering regulated software for medical devices or safety-critical systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading software engineering teams in complex, multi-release regulated environments using Agile, hybrid, or V-model lifecycles.
- Proven applied experience with AI in software engineering workflows and ensuring compliance with quality, security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
