About This Role
- Lead and develop the local L5 procurement and supplier management team in India aligned with global Mercedes-Benz Procurement (MP) strategy.
- Drive supplier strategy, operational excellence, and supplier quality management including local industrialization processes and integration with MP headquarters in Germany.
- Manage global procurement activities including cost target achievement, supplier capacity management, compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience in automotive procurement, electronics, semiconductors, or supply chain management.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field; MBA/Supply Chain or Procurement qualification advantageous.
- Strong understanding of automotive electronics and semiconductor supply chains.
- Work Experience Required: 15+ years in relevant domain.

- Experienced leader with a proven track record in global sourcing, supplier management, and handling semiconductor supply challenges.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and strategic projects in a complex, global automotive procurement environment.
