About This Role
- Design, build, and optimize cloud data structures on the Snowflake platform.
- Write, test, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation within Snowflake.
- Support performance tuning, monitor data pipelines, and help maintain Snowflake environments including cost management.
Minimum Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or analytics engineering; freshers may apply depending on the company.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and basic-to-working knowledge of Python.
- Familiarity with Snowflake architecture and objects (e.g., virtual warehouses, streams, tasks).
- Basic exposure to a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and version control tools like Git.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Junior-level data engineer comfortable collaborating with senior engineers and architects.
- Capable of assisting with ETL/ELT pipeline development and troubleshooting in a Snowflake environment.
- Has or is pursuing Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification, demonstrating foundational Snowflake knowledge.
