About This Role
- Design, build, and integrate components for Exotel’s billing and revenue platform handling ~200k transactions/min.
- Develop and maintain microservices, batch jobs, REST APIs, and Kafka pipelines for billing, sync, and fallback processes.
- Support IPO-readiness initiatives including controls, monitoring, automation, and cross-system integrations with ERP and payment gateways.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-8 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of Golang (preferred), Java, or PHP.
- Experience with scalable distributed systems, event-driven architectures, MySQL, Apache Kafka, and Kubernetes basics.
- Location: Bangalore (On-site).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms) with hands-on experience in distributed systems.
- Experience working with billing, invoicing, payments, or ERP system integrations is a plus.
- Comfortable with DevOps responsibilities including incident triage, logs, and metrics monitoring.
