About This Role
- Design and develop low-level embedded software drivers and hardware programming primarily for Linux and Zephyr operating systems.
- Port operating systems onto new hardware platforms and optimize kernel internals, peripheral drivers, and boot loaders.
- Debug embedded development platform issues and analyze root causes using simulators, emulators, or FPGA environments.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in embedded systems design and low-level software development.
- Masters or PhD in Electronics & Communication Engineering (E&CE) or Computer Science Engineering (CSE) from a reputed institute.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming, with experience in Linux, Zephyr, OS architecture, kernel internals, device drivers, and boot loaders.
- Familiarity with embedded development tools such as DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, GIT, and embedded platforms like simulators, emulators, or FPGA.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in OS porting and low-level hardware-software interfacing, reflecting strong technical depth in embedded systems.
- Capable of independently managing R&D setups and mentoring projects at reputed research institutes such as IISc or IIT.
- Comfortable working on multiple emerging technologies and producing high-quality technical reports aimed at senior leadership like CTO office.
