About This Role
- Design, build, and integrate microservices and batch jobs across a high-volume billing and revenue platform handling ~200k transactions/minute.
- Develop and extend REST APIs and Kafka-based event processing pipelines for billing events, synchronization flows, and fallback mechanisms.
- Support IPO-readiness initiatives including controls, monitoring, automation, and integration with ERP and payment gateways.
Minimum Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant software engineering experience in scalable distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Golang (preferred), Java, or PHP and strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms).
- Hands-on experience with MySQL schema design, query tuning, replication; Apache Kafka including consumers, lag handling, retry patterns.
- On-site work location: Bangalore.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing event-driven, high-throughput billing or payment systems with real-time processing requirements.
- Comfortable owning end-to-end system operations including DevOps tasks such as incident triage, logs, and metrics analysis.
- Experienced with microservices in a Kubernetes environment, GitOps tools (ArgoCD or equivalent), and integrations with ERP/payment platforms.
