About This Role
- Support financial and business planning for Global Support Functions business units to align with company strategic priorities.
- Analyze operating, forecast, and budget data to identify trends and improvement opportunities, and present findings to senior management up to SVP/VP level.
- Develop business plans, establish performance measures, and create efficient financial planning and reporting processes, including mentoring junior staff.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or related field; Accounting qualification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis or management accounting, emphasizing business plan development and budgeting.
- Strong financial analysis skills with ability to interpret financial statements relevant to the hotel industry.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; experience with Hyperion Essbase or similar consolidation/reporting system strongly preferred; PeopleSoft or similar ERP system experience preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced finance professional capable of handling end-to-end financial planning and analysis within global support functions.
- Comfortable collaborating and influencing senior executives (up to EVP, SVP, VP) to develop and implement business plans and reporting improvements.
- Skills in financial systems consolidation and reporting platforms relevant to the hotel industry environment.
