About This Role
- Build and lead a backend Java engineering team focused on identity and security platform features for authentication and authorization.
- Manage team goals, product strategy input, and employee development including recruitment and career management.
- Ensure technical leadership in scalable, maintainable systems with a high-quality bar via testing automation and CI/CD integration.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years managing engineering teams balancing new feature development and maintenance.
- 7-10 years software development experience with Java or backend technologies.
- Experience with SDLC, testing automation, release orchestration, feature flags, configuration management, and CI/CD platforms.
- Work Experience Required: 7-10 years software development experience; 3+ years engineering management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to build and grow engineering teams from scratch with performance management and coaching experience.
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder alignment, prioritization, and communication at a product and technical level.
- Strong technical background enabling sound decisions on secure web development, fault-tolerant systems, and cloud technologies in fast-paced environments.
