About This Role
- Own end-to-end reliability, scalability, and performance of production infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
- Design and maintain observability systems including metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, SLIs/SLOs, and manage incident response to reduce MTTA/MTTR.
- Lead infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipeline development; architect Kubernetes at scale; manage network architecture and cloud security; mentor platform engineers and set technical direction.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform engineering roles, including staff/lead level experience.
- Deep, hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Strong AWS expertise including EC2, VPC, EKS, IAM, networking, and security groups.
- Proven knowledge of observability tools (OTel, Grafana, Telegraf, Influx), scripting (Python, Go, Bash), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD (Jenkins or similar), and on-call incident management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior engineer with demonstrated leadership in platform or SRE functions able to influence cross-functional teams without authority.
- Experienced in designing and operating scalable cloud and container infrastructure with strong networking and security knowledge.
- Skilled in embedding operational excellence into software lifecycle and mentoring engineers in best practices and technical direction.
