About This Role
- Build and scale reusable test automation frameworks and utilities focusing on functional, API, UI, mobile, web, SDK, and end-to-end tests for critical lending workflows including BankConnect.
- Own test strategy, regression coverage, release-quality assessment, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve release quality and detect production risks early.
- Conduct performance and load testing of services and SDKs when required and explore AI-assisted testing tools to enhance automation efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in any discipline.
- 2 - 3 years of hands-on SDET or test automation experience with demonstrable experience building or extending automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or Go.
- Hands-on experience in at least two areas among Test Automation Frameworks (TestNG, pytest, etc.), Web UI Automation (Selenium, Playwright), Mobile UI Automation (Appium, Detox), or API Automation (RestAssured, native API testing libraries).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates a builder mindset with ownership and ability to deliver independently in fast-paced environments, focusing on automation engineering, not just test execution.
- Experience in fintech, lending, or multi-tenant SaaS domain is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiar with CI/CD integration and interested in leveraging AI-driven testing tools to accelerate automation workflows.
