About This Role
- Define and drive the long-term technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for NoSQL database platforms at enterprise scale.
- Lead design, operation, and optimization of highly available, scalable NoSQL systems supporting mission-critical workloads with multi-petabyte scale and millions of requests per second.
- Mentor senior engineers, influence cross-team architecture and engineering standards, and resolve complex database production issues including performance, availability, and capacity constraints.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years in software, infrastructure, or database engineering with deep expertise in NoSQL database systems and internals.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or related field with at least 6 years of software engineering experience; or 8 years of software engineering experience without degree.
- Proven experience debugging and operating high-availability, high-throughput database deployments in production at scale.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C++, or Go; systems engineering knowledge including distributed systems, storage, concurrency, and capacity planning.
