About This Role
- Architect, develop, configure, and maintain HPE StoreOnce physical and virtual storage appliances.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to define OS-level requirements and deliver production-ready designs.
- Manage system programming aspects including OS configuration, deployment, Linux internals, and storage technologies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system programming.
- Expertise in Linux internals, system programming, storage technologies (RAID, SAN, NAS), and proficiency in C, C++, and Golang.
- Role is hybrid with requirement to work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and deploying storage appliance platforms in hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator comfortable working closely with both software and hardware engineering teams.
- Technically proficient in OS kernel-level programming, storage driver stacks, and knowledgeable in storage protocols like SCSI and Fibre Channel.
