About This Role
- Manage and lead a high-performing engineering team of 10-12 across multiple technology stacks including Java and Mainframe.
- Drive design, development, and delivery of scalable, resilient software products ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets within architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams, product, business stakeholders, and architects to set priorities, roadmap, and operationalize best engineering practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of software development experience with at least 5+ years managing engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience in Java-Scala-Spark backend systems is mandatory; cloud experience is desirable.
- Experience with microservices architecture, CI/CD tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins), test frameworks (JUnit, Mockito), databases (relational and NoSQL), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Splunk).

- Experienced leader of agile, cross-functional technology teams working with distributed global teams and complex system integrations.
- Strong technical expertise in backend systems development including microservices, cloud-native concepts, and large-scale payment processing or enterprise finance-related solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with senior leadership and business stakeholders to define product roadmaps and deliver high-quality operational software at scale.
