About This Role
- Lead and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities ensuring accurate general ledger maintenance and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee and mentor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to ensure accurate billing, vendor payments, and adherence to MSME compliance, while driving operational efficiency and internal controls.
- Manage end-to-end statutory compliance for direct and indirect taxes, payroll statutory obligations, coordinate audits, and lead stakeholder management including auditors and tax authorities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting and compliance experience, with at least 5 years in managerial/team leadership roles.
- Prior hands-on experience in Indian statutory compliance, direct and indirect taxation, financial reporting, and corporate secretarial management is mandatory; prior experience in media/agency/advertising sectors is a strong advantage.
