About This Role
- Lead design and implementation of large-scale data engineering solutions and ETL migrations to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Own development, testing, deployment, performance tuning, and operational support of data pipelines and workflows for data warehouses, lakes, and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate efforts, and guide migration strategies from legacy systems to modern cloud-native data services.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of Data Engineering experience with at least 5+ years working on production-scale cloud solutions (GCP preferred).
- Proven expertise in ETL processes using IBM DataStage or equivalent cloud ETL tools, with strong skills in SQL, Python or Java.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (BE/BTech or equivalent).
- Experience with GCP services relevant to data (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub), infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, and professional GCP Data Engineer certification preferred.

- Experienced leader in cloud migration projects involving mainframe or legacy ETL systems to GCP native services.
- Strong technical operator capable of hands-on development combined with performance tuning and production troubleshooting.
- Comfortable working under direction of architects and leads while independently handling design, testing, and deployment phases in agile environments.
