About This Role
- Monitor and control all phases of the application development lifecycle including design, construction, testing, and implementation with post-implementation user support.
- Develop, recommend, and implement automation solutions primarily using Java and Selenium, including creating and maintaining test plans and strategies for Quality Engineering projects.
- Collaborate with global BA, Dev & QA teams, mentor junior resources, and act as SME to senior stakeholders with responsibility for risk assessment and compliance adherence.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years experience in SCRUM or Agile engineering environments, preferably in Financial Services on Onboarding platforms.
- Hands-on expertise in Java programming, Selenium for UI automation, API testing tools like Postman and SOAP UI, and SQL database knowledge.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent university degree required.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, and SharePoint.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building automation frameworks from scratch, including implementing BDD frameworks in complex multi-tiered application architectures.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision, showing autonomy and sound judgment under pressure.
- Comfortable collaborating with multiple teams globally and mentoring junior engineers, with a track record of automating systems with dynamic data flows and complex architecture.
