About This Role
- Provide technical and business application support, including issue resolution and collaboration with technology partners for long-term fixes.
- Participate in application release activities, disaster recovery testing, and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
- Act as liaison between users, internal technology teams, and vendors; own support projects focused on stability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in enterprise application support.
- Advanced SQL skills across Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Experience with data warehousing tools like Ab Initio, Informatica, Data Stage.
- Experience in mixed OS environments: Unix, Linux, Windows Server.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Comfortable operating with limited supervision and exercising independent judgment, acting as subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, business knowledge, and technology strategy relevant to application support.
- Experience or willingness to engage in standardization of procedures, incident and change management using AI-driven operational tools and problem management software like ServiceNow or JIRA.
