About This Role
- Own and drive architecture and technical roadmap for core backend platform(s), balancing speed, quality, security, and scalability.
- Write, review, and ship production code while influencing engineering quality and technical standards across teams.
- Serve as escalation point for complex production issues and lead systemic improvements in development lifecycle and enterprise software delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency with Python, Terraform, and AWS.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and making architectural decisions across multiple systems or teams without formal people-management authority.
- Work Experience Required: 8+ years
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in backend programming frameworks and technologies (e.g., Node.js, Express.js, Python) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Skilled with microservices architecture, distributed systems design, and building scalable enterprise-grade applications with 99%+ availability.
- Able to operate as a de facto technical lead, mentoring others and turning ambiguous problems into clear technical plans.
