About This Role
- Own end-to-end applied AI projects from research through production deployment in a fintech setting.
- Set technical direction and make informed decisions on AI model development, including build vs. buy and fine-tuning strategies.
- Mentor engineers and translate ambiguous business problems into actionable technical roadmaps.
Minimum Requirements
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience as an AI/ML Engineer, specifically in computer vision or transformer-based models.
- Proven track record of taking multiple AI models from research to production and managing them post-launch (retraining, regression, incident handling).
- Strong expertise in either computer vision (classification, detection, segmentation, ViT/VLM) or language models (LLM fine-tuning, embeddings, task adaptation).
- Work Experience Required: 6–8 years as AI/ML Engineer
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Has in-depth technical judgment balancing build vs. buy decisions, considering cost, latency, and accuracy implications.
- Experienced with designing evaluation frameworks and data strategies for either vision or language AI systems.
- Familiarity with fintech AI domains like KYC, fraud detection, risk, or document intelligence, and scaling GPU infrastructure is a plus.
