About This Role
- Lead data execution and operational delivery across all Takeda U.S. Business Unit (USBU) and Oncology Business Unit (OBU) markets ensuring operational stability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Own end-to-end operations including data processing, production support, incident and escalation management, and operational governance, establishing scalable models and KPIs.
- Lead and develop the India Capability Center (ICC) team, managing capacity, talent, governance, automation initiatives, and providing transparent updates to senior stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience in data operations, data engineering, or related technology disciplines with significant leadership responsibility.
- Proven experience leading large, distributed teams and managing operations across multiple business units or programs.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, information systems, business, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Strong pharmaceutical or life sciences domain knowledge, especially in commercial and oncology data ecosystems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex, multi-market data operations with a strong focus on operational governance, SLA/KPI management, and continuous improvement in a matrixed global environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and scale capability centers or global delivery organizations with expertise in automation, monitoring, and risk management.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with business leaders, vendor management, and senior stakeholders in large enterprise settings with regulated data and compliance requirements.
