About This Role
- Design and develop reliable, scalable, globally available cloud services for data protection in SaaS environments such as Microsoft 365.
- Own the reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence of your cloud services including participation in on-call rotations.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and ensure high-quality, secure, and thoroughly tested code delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Proven experience with SaaS or large-scale cloud services on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go, C#, Java, Scala, or Rust.
- Strong fundamentals in computer science including data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced backend engineer comfortable working in global, distributed teams on greenfield cloud service projects.
- Skilled in building scalable, concurrent, multithreaded production services with a focus on resilience and security.
- Familiar with operational aspects of cloud services including on-call responsibilities and service reliability.
