About This Role
- Contribute to application systems analysis, design, programming, and implementation of new or revised application systems in collaboration with Technology team.
- Analyze and resolve application issues including system enhancements, vulnerability identification, testing, debugging, and providing programming solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to junior analysts, exercising independent judgment and supporting stakeholders on technical and risk-related matters.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Applications Development within Financial Services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree/university degree or equivalent experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of programming languages, scripting, application security testing, and debugging.
- Ability to operate with limited supervision and make informed decisions in accordance with compliance and risk policies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in application development roles focused on financial services technology environments.
- Capable of analyzing and advising on system vulnerabilities and security issues with sound problem-solving skills.
- Autonomous operator comfortable serving as a subject matter expert and coach for less experienced team members.
